I'll be giving a brief talk (and missing class!) at the Lesser But Vital Practices happy hour and public lecture accompanying Frontrunners: The San Francisco Foundation 2011 Murphy and Cadogan Fellowship Awards Exhibition about seemingly non-arts based practices. Seven exhibiting artists will lecture briefly on a topic that may initially seem only tangentially related to their artwork:
Michelle Ramin, Kari Orvik, Sofia Sharpe, James Coquia, Maya Pasternak, Rachel Mica Weiss, Elia Vargas
Tuesday, August 30th, 5:30-7pm (lectures begin at 6pm)
