Recology Artist-in-Residence Exhibition opens Friday, September 21st!

I have been lucky to have the opportunity to be an artist-in-residence at Recology SF - it has been an unforgettable experience being up close and personal with what the city discards on a daily basis over the last couple months ...I've built a 16x20" camera from materials found in 'the pile', scavenged a variety of glass and paper substrates to make images on with photo chemicals found at Household Hazardous Waste, and many other experiments (failed and otherwise!)  that I don't know how to describe yet...:)

Also exhibiting are the other wonderful artists-in-residence: Bonanza, Rabbit Garcia, and Starkweather/Hughen.

Only 3 days to see the exhibition!

Friday, September 21, 5-8pm (party!)
Saturday, September 22, 1-3pm (also party!: )
Tuesday, September 25th, 5-7pm - Artists talk start at 6pm
